From my pile of currently-reading: First Comes Seduction (Mary Balogh), The Boxcar Children: Surprise Island (Gertrude Chandler Warner), On Writing (Stephen King), The Family Fang (Kevin Wilson) and Overdressed: The Shockingly High Cost of Cheap Fashion (Elizabeth L. Cline)
During the school year, I read more slowly–a few books a week. I re-read anything I’m teaching, and usually have a book from the library on my nightstand.
But in the summer, I’m double-fisting. I have a book on the couch, and a book in the kitchen, three books on my nightstand and one on CD in the car, one in Josh’s room for bedtime and another in the laundry room. High brow, low-brow, mid-list–I’m in the middle of all of them, and I can hardly stand the ecstasy.
